Habits to Prevent Losing Things

If you can't remember where you put something or you can't believe that you lost your keys again. Read on because there is hope for you, no matter how old you are. The definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results.

Does this fall into the category of changing old habits? You bet it does, if you're tired of losing things, it could be as simple as changing an old habit or creating a new one. If you're going to blame this on old age, stupidity, there is a conspiracy and someone's out to get me, you're not alone. I have heard these excuses for years and there is a good chance I'll be hearing them in the future.

Let me ask you a couple of questions and if you can answer yes to any of these, I can definitely solve your problem by helping you create new habits.

1. Do you lose your car keys often? When you walk into your home, do you lay your keys down in the same spot. When you're visiting friends or family, are your keys usually laying somewhere around their home or do you place them in your pocket or purse.

2. Do you lose your mail often? If you can't find your mail and often get late notices, this could simply be eliminated by placing a bucket or box around your house somewhere and dropping all of the mail into it on a regular basis.

3. Do you lose your jewelry often? This could be eliminated by placing your jewelry in a small box or getting into the habit of removing your jewelry, within 10 minutes of arriving at your house.

4. Do you lose or forget where your children are? You might think this doesn't happen much but to some people it happens on a regular basis. Something like this could be taken care of with a small notepad and making notes of where your children are going.

This list could go on and on and I'm sure I didn't cover the major items most people lose but these are some of the things people I know loose on a regular basis. Car keys seem to be the worst. The people I know that lose their car keys often, walk into our house and lay their purse or car keys, anywhere. The words "Do you know where my car keys are" are heard around our house on a daily basis.

By creating better habits you can prevent the loss of most things. Stop Losing Your Car Keys
